TSI has been pretty supportive of inXile’s Wasteland 2. I wonder what their thoughts are about the recent announcement to do a proper sequel to the Bard’s Tale series, picking up with the 4th installment.
While I don’t think BT was in the same league as the Gold Box games, they are kindred spirits from a common era. It will be interesting to follow the development of another classic franchise, and how TSI can find similarities in designing and promoting Seven Dragon Saga.
We’re big fans of the Bard’s Tale games as well! Although they were quite different. So, it is very encouraging to see quality, party based RPG’s coming back into vogue. Expect to hear more concrete details about Seven Dragon Saga before Bard’s Tale…
Bard’s Tale IV kickstarter is live. You guys should give a shout out and keep up your visibility.
Yeah, wondering what TSI is doing in their secret chambers from which no word escapes regarding the next KS campaign….I´m waiting for it, guys 😉
We appreciate the support. We’ve announced that Lee Dotson joined the team as Art Director this week. Expect us to be a bit more chatty on social media when Bard’s Tale IV hits the goal (we’re backers too). 🙂
Cool to see you guys backing. Got to just love how KS is helping fund and bring all these different kinds of “classic” RPG games to market! And “big publishers” think no one wants this kind of stuff??? PAH!
